Task 13 – Standing on a chair

Profound thought for the Task

You are here to enable the divine purpose of the universe to unfold. That’s how important you are.
– Eckhart

The Task:  Stand on a chair and see what happens. If you wait long enough, and idea will come.

Well, this challenge has beaten me! I waited ages for the right moment to stand on a chair, but the right moment just didn’t come along. I was worried that I might stand on a chair and then nothing would happen, and then I’d have nothing to write about. I suppose that would mean that I hadn’t stood on the chair for long enough, but how long is long enough. I have no idea!

The closest thing that happened to me when I eventually stood on a chair, was that I was compelled to stand on the table that was next to it. When I stood on the table a whole new world opened up to me. A world of reflections, multi-dimensions and other universes that were not accessible by me. This was because I was surrounded by mirrors, and the mirrors were reflecting multiple versions of me in other mirrors, and this went on as far as the eye could see.

Getting a photo of reflections of reflections is not possible because the camera gets in the way of the reflections. So you end-up getting a photo of reflections of the camera, which isn’t the same as what the observer (me) sees when the camera isn’t there. There’s probably an AI way of doing this, but who cares. I’ve taken a photo of my reflecting multi-verse, and that is all I can do to remind myself that I stood on a chair for long enough for something to happen.

I was there to enable the divine purposes of the universe to unfold in reflections. That’s how important mirrors are.
